Vision Therapy

Vision Therapy
Vision Therapy, also known as Orthoptics or Vision Training, is an attempt to improve certain functional vision deficiencies with specific exercises that help train the eye for better performance. Vision Therapy is a functional approach for correcting the effects of eye movement disorders, binocular (eye teaming) dysfunctions, amblyopia (lazy eye) and certain visual perceptual disorders when glasses alone are insufficient. More comfortable and efficient visual performance is achieved through the use of carefully planned therapy procedures. Certified Pediatric Optometrist, Dr. Pete Davis, has studied Vision Therapy extensively and has found the process to be particularly useful for certain pediatric visual issues.
